In March four of us headed down to Miami for a weekend full of photo shoots. We had scouted out some amazing locations and booked beautiful models. As soon as we arrived in Miami, we headed straight for the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. James Deering, a millionaire and bachelor, built the Vizcaya estate starting in 1913 with its completion in 1922. It is the most beautiful location and I highly recommend a visit if you are ever in the Miami area. The following day we headed to South Beach where we meet several more models to shoot on the streets. Spring Break was in full swing so the area was buzzing with locals and tourists alike. That night was spent in the Wynwood Arts District. This district contains over 70 galleries, museums and collections. Additionally, there are the graffiti and street art styled murals on the walls of the buildings. The wall project was created by Tony Goldman to bring more traffic in the district. It was a very busy, whirlwind of a trip. There is so much to see and do in Miami that I think you could spend a year there and still not capture it all. Many thanks to my friends Josh, Kirsten, and Iris for coming with me on this adventure. Also a huge thanks to all the models for their hard work. As you can see below it paid off temendously. Until next time Miami!
